Introducing Sonia Tashjian

Born in Ainjar, Lebanon, in 1968.
She participates in Նոր Գրականութիւն (New Literature) group, in Beirut.
1990 – moves to Armenia.
1994 – her first book Այրվող կակաչների ռիթմը is published.
2004 – her second book Անձնագիր is published
2004 – publishes a memorial book Հերեան, about childhood friend and poet Bedros Hergelian who had died prematurely.
Sonia is working on a new poetry book & a study about the Նոր Գրականութիւն (New Literature) group & movement in Beirut.
