Hrant Alexanian invited to international poetry festival in Medellín, Colombia

APP wishes to congratulate Hrant Alexanian for his official selection to the 24º International Poetry Festival of Medellín, July 19th to 27th, 2014.

Hrant Alexanian was born in 1961, is a doctor of philological sciences, and occupies himself exclusively with literary and journalistic activities since 1983. He is the author of ten books of poetry, numerous essays and journalistic articles and a great number of translations of works of modern writers of world poetry. His work has been translated in a number of languages, he is the winner of the award of the Writers Union of Armenia and the editor-in-chief of a literary and art translation magazine.
