Poetry competition and publication opportunity (Deadline is June 1 2026)

 

ԳՐԱԿԱՆ ՄՐՑՈՅԹ ՀՈՐԻԶՈՆ ԳՐԱԿԱՆԻ 40-ԱՄԵԱԿԻՆ ԱՌԹԻՒ

Հորիզոն գրականի 40-ամեակին առթիւ խմբագրական կազմը կը
հաստատէ տարեկան գրական մրցոյթ մը, որուն կրնան մասնակցիլ
15-ը բոլորած պատանիներէն մինչեւ 40-ը բոլորած երիտասարդները՝
տարիքային հետեւեալ բաժանումներով.
Ա. խումբ՝ 15 – 20 տարեկաններ
Բ. խումբ՝ 21 – 40 տարեկաններ
Նկատի պիտի առնուին գրական հետեւեալ սեռերը.
Ա. Արձակ — պատմուածք (առաւելագոյնը 2 500 բառ)
Բ. Բանաստեղծութիւն — ազատ կամ չափածոյ
(առաւելագոյնը 40 տող)
Գ. Գծանկարաշար — bande dessinée — comics
(առաւելագոյնը 40 նկար)

Լեզուն պէտք է ըլլայ հայերէն (արեւմտահայերէն կամ արեւելա-
հայերէն), իսկ գրութիւնները պէտք է ըլլան անտիպ։

Պիտի յատկացուին պարգեւներ իւրաքանչիւր տարիքի ու գրական
սեռի լաւագոյն գործին։ Իսկ դարձեալ իւրաքանչիւրէն լաւագոյն երեքը
պիտի հրատարակուին Հորիզոն գրականի յատուկ թիւով մը։
Մրցոյթին ներկայացուած գրութիւնները պէտք է խմբագրութեան
հասած ըլլան մինչեւ 2025-ի փետրուարի վերջը, թղթատարով կամ
ելեկտրոնային նամակով, կողքի սիւնակով տրուած հասցէներուն։

2021 Young Armenian Poets Awards announced by IALA - International Armenian Literary Alliance

 IALA is announcing its inaugural Young Armenian Poets Award for ages 14-18. Deadline for submission is April 30, 2021

Guidelines

• Poems must be no longer than 50 lines.
• Poems must be submitted in English (translations are welcomed but the translator must be credited).
• Writers may submit no more than 3 poems per submission and make only one submission.
• All poems must be in the same document, and each must start on a new page.
• Poems should be submitted in Garamond, size 12 font, and single-spaced with standard margins (1 inch on each side of the page unless the aesthetic of the poem calls for variations).
• Poems should be submitted as .pdf, .doc, or .docx files.
• All students must fill out registration information through our Google Form with their submission.
• No personal information (including author names) should appear on the submission, as work will be read anonymously.
• Writers must identify as Armenian.

Young Poets Network launches international poetry translation challenge based on Armenian poem

Hello Readers and Poets:

I am thrilled to announce that Modern Poetry in Translation (UK) has teamed up with Young Poets Network for an online translation workshop, based on my poem Այսօր Today.

This challenge is for writers aged up to 25 based anywhere in the world. You have until Sunday, August 25, 2019 to submit! I hope you can participate.
