Sylva Boyadjian-Haddad: Treading On A Land Mine
Be mindful crossing the desert
Let your boots land softly on sand
(Check your arrogance at the gate
Clear your mind of fear)
You could as well be treading on
A poet’s grave as an old mine

Sylva Boyadjian-Haddad: Peace
It must have been dark by then
since in the distance I saw stars
dead millions of years shine
their light on us
