Չորս հոգով էինք, էլ ոչ ոք չկար,

Թէ իմանար մեզ ինչից է զրկում,

Առաւօտն ինքն էլ երևի չգար։

Մենք մեզ իրար մէջ որոնում էինք, 

Դաշնութիւնն էինք հիւսում մեր հոգու,
