Born in Lebanon in 1942,  Panos Jeranian attended the Mesrobian primary school in Bourj-Hamoud; the Mekhitarist secondary school. His undergraduate and graduate degrees include Haigazian College (educational psychology); the State University in Armenia (Armenology); the American University of Beirut (MA in political sciences). He taught children with development disabilities, then worked for many years for the Mitsubishi Corporation. He has travelled widely and lived in many countries experiencing many cultures.

Jeranian began writing in his youth. His work has appeared in Armenian reviews worldwide such as PAKIN, Aztag, both published in Lebanon, Horizon, in Montréal and Marmara, in Istanbul.

His collections include «Քամիներ»,  «Քեզ ինչպէս կոչեմ», «Ի լուր» «Բառերու Լոյսը», «Ժամանակներ».
