Ա՜խ, ինձ մարդիկ խելա՛ռ տեսան,

Վրաս քար շա՜տ նետեցին.

Քարերն եկան` սրտի՛ս դիպան,

Վերքերն երկար մնացին...

Բայց քո նետած քարը խոշոր`

Սիրուս խելառ օրերում,-

Թաքցրել եմ շատ խո՜րն ու խո՜ր

Սրտիս արնոտ խորշերում...

God! People took me for a fool,
They cast at me many a stone.
The rocks hit me in the heart,
And the wounds still linger on…

But the big rock that you threw
During my madcap days of love,
I still conceal deep, deep inside,
