crafted to perfection,
 
Her favorite symphony of hollow promises

 First movement¬¬––piano, languid sonnet
  teary tales woven into crescendo
  (her ear unravels)
 Second movement––forte, striking rondo
  fierce passion fabricated to thaw viscous souls
  (plucked, she spills open…)
   now lost somewhere between “Hello Baby” and his malign melody,
    siphoned through sticky staccato beats,
     played skillfully––she 
        in final measure
          accepts apology.
