César Antonovich Cui's compositions for Armenian poems

In 1907, Cui's song cycle set to the Russian translations of poets by several Armenian writers was published in Moscow. The seven movements of this Op numbered 75 include works by Bedros Tourian, Rafael Patkanian and Avetik Isahakyan.

César Antonovich Cui (18 January 1835 — 26 March 1918) has written many more pieces to accompany poems by Russian authors. He was a prolific composers of operas and instrumental pieces.
